Nettie Shuler started life in Hayesville, the daughter of William and Flora Kitchen Ashe. She grew up as part of a hard-working family in the small community of Shooting Creek.

Henry Auden Thistle, 35, of Brasstown passed away Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019. He was a native and lifetime resident of Clay County.

Beloved mother, aunt, sister and sister-in-law, Deanne Faith Ross Poteat, 77, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019 after a brief illness.

Claude Hodge, 86, of Andrews, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Andrews.
