Farie Lou Sams, age 75, of Hayesville, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020. Lou was born Feb. 28, 1945 in Clayton, Ga. to the late Clyde and Hazel (Bradshaw) Dover.
Malisa Karajulles Moffat, 48, of Hayesville passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020. She was born in Baton Rouge, La. but was raised in Sulphur, La. She moved to Hayesville in 2017.
Margaret Sue Derochie, 80, of Hayesville, N.C. passed away Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020 in Erlanger Western Carolina Hospital. She was a native and lifetime resident of Clay County, N.C.
Beatrice Zimmerman, 88, of Brasstown, N.C., passed away on Nov. 9, 2020. She was born in Clay County to the late Paul and Maude Phillips Zimmerman.
Debra “Debbie” Gail Reeder, 64, passed away on Oct. 30,2020 in Ocala, Fla. Debbie was born in Spruce Pine, N.C. on Oct. 11,1956.
Dale Leon Allen, 79, of Hayesville, passed away at Northside Hospital Forsyth on Monday, Oct. 26, 2020 following an almost monthlong battle with COVID-19.
S. Franklin Barnett, 86, of Murphy, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 20 in a Chat- tanooga, Tenn. hospital.
He was a native and life- time resident of Cherokee County.
Mr. Zane F. Bristol, 95, of Sharpsburg, Ga., passed away Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Barbara C. Bristol; a son, Mike Bristol.
Carol Bushey Kappert, 79, of Titusville, Fla., formerly of Glastonbury, Conn., beloved wife of Charles “Chuck” Kappert, passed away peacefully on Oct. 11, 2020. Carol was born in Hartford, Conn.
Kenneth Guffey, 73, of Hayesville, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020. He was born in Clay County to the late Jess and Evie Ramey Guffey.
