Graduation set for July 24

Graduation for the class of 2020 will take place Friday, July 24 at 6 p.m. in Frank R. Long Memorial Stadium on the Hayesville High School campus, according to an announcement from the school. Rain dates are Saturday, July 25 and Sunday, July 26.

Rehearsal for graduation, which includes all senior class members, will be 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 23 also in the stadium.

Due to North Carolina’s current status in phased reopening, each graduate will receive four guest tickets for the ceremony. Specifics on health and safety protocols will be released at a date closer to the event, according to the announcement.
